Goodbye
« on: Yesterday at 11:01 pm »
Just thought I'd post a last thread in the ZenWave forum here on AudioCircle.

I've been posting here for over 20 years! I've had ZenWave Audio for about 12 years or so and AudioCircle has helped get it off the ground. However, it's been nearly 3 years since anyone has posted here, and ZenWave has largely moved on in every way possible. Top-end ZenWave cables are now not just a good value, they compete with cost-no-object cables and beat a vast majority of them. I can't even put them on my website because I can't meet demand simply spread by word of mouth. I have weeks long wait times for products I can't even make public, what an amazing blessing. And I'm not done yet! A new type of UPOCC silver litz wire is scheduled for a test run and if it works out as anticipated it'll leave my competition in the dust for interconnect cables. My pricing may be a bit above average AC member spending but my new lineup at VolkSilver is head and shoulders above any cable near the price.

ZenWave is still going to make speakers and amps, but on the back burner due to long covid issues and putting effort into making the best cables on the market.

I wish everyone well and if you have any questions or want to post in the ZenWave forum, do it now before it gets archived. Thanks so much and I hope everyone's stereo is delivering you joy, happiness, a kind of contemplation and meditation only music can provide. Even the frustrations with noise and hum, figuring out problems and making improvements are valuable experiences. Music is part of our human experience and I for one am so grateful for it. I am also so grateful I get to help people achieve their goals in musical reproduction, it's very satisfying and makes it all worthwhile. What a great job. It started as a side business but after Vestas Wind Turbines laid off the US engineering team it became full time. I love engineering and music, so everything worked out.

I have one forum I'm going to maintain elsewhere and my email is [email protected]. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or just to say hi.  :)

Continued good success Dave. Succeeding in the audiophile cable business is hard to do.

Good to hear your business is thriving. Best of luck.
Your cables are still making music in my system.

Thanks for the replies!  :thumb:

While ZenWave can't maintain a forum that hasn't been posted in for nearly 3 years, I will still visit AC and post occasionally.

Feel free to msg me or call me, hopefully ZenWave and VolkSilver will be around for a long time to come.  :)

Hey Dave,

Gonna miss you throwing in your 2 cents now and then. You've always been a person who's ears I trusted.

Take care, and don't work TOO hard.
