Hi FullRangeMan I have a 300B SET (8WPC). 
It's made in Hong Kong and I found it more affordable than those I could find in the market in Australia.
The tube is EH300B (not gold plated). TBH, I'm a newbie to tube audio too since last year

Hi seikosha, I've retired my JM Lab Chrous 707S (bought in 2008) with the maggie LRS+ last year.
However I want a pair of SAM dedicated for mucic

All of a sudden, 'Sam' doesn't arrive today and I have to pass a lonely weekend myself till Monday. 
I did a few of my research that some owners found 'Sam' wakes up to be a better 'person' after 100hrs.
I hope I don't have to run that long or otherwise cover it with a quilt and play overnight with a SS amp

I would suggest not leaving this amp(or any other audio equipment) power on for long periods.
Especially if the weather looks like rain.

Hi FullRangeMan, thank you  The 300B is now in a box and I need to wait until the weekend to unbox the pair of SAM that just arrived this afternoon. They are bigger than expected

Thanks FullRangeMan for your thoughtful reminder! My roof did leak a few times last year until it was fixed early this year. Perhaps I just warm them up in an ordinary way.

SAM finally sings on a temporary stand but sound signature is so different from LRS+.
Need to switch back to 300B SET for its full potentials.
Will see if I can source a better stand for his proper performance

Hi Uncola, yea, it sounds very differently and I like both of them for different purpose.
Now I just leave SAM at the place for burn-in period before my new wooden stand arrives

Do these drivers have paper Voice Coils form as is usual in fullrange drivers ?

If your SAM speakers have paper VC I would not leave these speakers running for very long periods, especially if you are using a tube amp.

Thanks FullRangeMan! I just played it for half day which is long for me. I was told by tube friends that tube amp should not be switched on and off often or shorten the tube lifespan.

SAM is paper cone and sorry I dont get you about VC.

Do you mean say you run your tube amp and an paper Voice Coil Form for 12 hours ?

Yes most fullrange drivers use paper cone for better sound quality than Plastic or Metal cones.
Many years ago was common to use in the VC Form Kraft paper or Stamping paper, but today there is new options as Ceramic paper or Mica paper etc

About the Voice Coil Form:
There is VCF in various materials according the driver intended use.
For hi temp applications as Pro-audio, Car audio, PA, etc is used Copper, Aluminium, Nomex, Kapton etc in the Form.

For precision Hi-End fullranges is mandatory use paper Voice Coil Former to get  extreme fidelity in musical reproduction in timbre and harmonics.
Unfortunately Paper Form do not withstand high temp like the other materials mentioned above.

I set the volume volume to ~1 o'clock on my 300B whilst my daughter with even just 11 o'clock.
The output should be very mild especially I set it to low gain and its max output is just 7Wpc. 

If I listen to pop music, I might consider to switch back to KT170 with the LRS+ which should be very safe
