Earth, Wind & Fire (To Be Celestial vs That's the Weight of the World) is a new documentary by Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, his previous documentaries were Summer of Soul, Sly Lives! and 50 Years of SNL Music. All four documentaries are entertaining and educational. I was familiar with the music but never followed the band or bought any of their albums being more of a rock-and-roll guy.

This documentary follows Maurice White's early life through the many incarnations of Earth, Wind & Fire to the present day.

Great documentary! I had no idea Maurice White was so talented before EWF. You gotta be good to play in the Ramsey Lewis Trio.
