Based on Gemini's query response, it would appear this unit was manufactured during the 10th week of 2023 (2310) contained in the 14 digit serial number.

Thank you.
I missed out that BP-19...
After seeing the number of another BP-19. I thought it was YYMM but YYWW is also valid.  :)

FYI
Bryston changed their serial number layout when they moved their manufacturing facility to Dwight, Ontario.

Your 14-digit serial number contains the exact manufacturing date embedded directly within the middle digits. It breaks down into three distinct sections:

* **Digits 1–7 (Product Type):** Identifies the exact model/preamplifier type.
* **Digits 8–11 (Date Code):** The manufacturing date, formatted as **YYMM** (Year/Month).
* **Digits 12–14 (Production Sequence):** The unit's specific production number for that month.

---

### How to Decode Your Date

Look closely at the **8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th digits** of your serial number:

* **Digits 8 & 9** represent the **Year** (e.g., `22` = 2022, `24` = 2024).
* **Digits 10 & 11** represent the **Month** (e.g., `03` = March, `11` = November).

> **Example Breakdown:**
> If your serial number looks like `XXXXXXX2305012`:
> * `2305` represents **May 2023**
> * `012` means it was the 12th unit of that model built during that month.

If you ever need to verify the exact production day or pull the original testing cards for warranty tracking, you can always drop a quick email to Bryston service with your 14 digits, and they can pull up its exact build history.

Hello Barry,

Thank you for your time and information. I'm now looking at another BP-19 however this one should be adapted from 220V 60Hz to 240V 50/60Hz......

Olaf
