Ok guys, I'm sure I'm not the only one who waited in line this morning. Which shop did you you go to? What albums did you pick up? Did you get everything you were hoping?

I went and had a great time at 1709 Records in Vancouver. They had coffee, donuts, photo booth and dj to make it a real party. I went for mainly one album Pepper - Give'n It. We grabbed that one and picked up a few non RSD titles while we were there. I was hoping for Porcupine Tree but that one disappeared before I got in. My wife and I had a great time with it all.

So what did you guys get?

I had another obligation so no Record Store Day for me.. I didn't see any must haves on the list anyway. I'll probably stop by my favorite record store, Studio Records in Tulsa Oklahoma in a day or two and see if there are any scraps left.. The record store is right down the block from the newly refurbished Leon Russell Church Studio and museum..

Maybe you can find some Leon Russell or JJ Cale that you don't already have?

Too late Steve, I all ready have a nice collection by them.. These days I listen to Radio Paradise when I'm in the car or out for a walk on the internet, they play a lot of obscure music which I like.. It's an excellent internet station and so far it's free but they do ask for donations if you're willing. I've purchased a few albums after listening to music on that station..
