Hi all,
I’m new to the forum and thought I’d introduce myself. I’m a long‑time music lover and audiophile, with tastes that span jazz, classical, rock, and acoustic recordings. I enjoy experimenting with system synergy and learning from others who are just as passionate about the gear and the music.
My current system is somewhat eclectic, as I like to rotate speakers depending on mood and material:
Preamp:
Electrocompaniet EC 4.7
Power Amp:
Krell KSA‑200S
Speakers:
Wilson Sasha
Martin Logan SL3
Magnepan 3.5R
Source:
Consonance Droplet (vinyl front end)
Turntable with Lyra Kleos SL cartridge
The Krell has been a phenomenal anchor for the system, especially with the Wilsons, offering great control and authority, while the Electrocompaniet brings a touch of musical warmth. Each speaker brings something different to the table — the Wilsons for dynamics and scale, the Magnepans for openness and coherence, and the Martin Logans for that classic electrostatic transparency.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about possible preamp upgrades, particularly chasing a bit more holography and soundstage depth, so I’m keen to learn from others’ experiences — especially those running Wilsons or similar revealing speakers.
Looking forward to contributing, learning, and exchanging ideas with the community.
Cheers,
Kunal
