Hi Gene

We just make sure everything is working to spec and replace any parts we think could use an upgrade.

Is this sale in anticipation of an upcoming new generational launch succeeding the Cubed series thus a house cleaning of sorts needed to be done? And curious, why is this limited to the 4 series and not the 7 series, 9 series, 3 series, etc.?

I sent in a "request to purchase" and a follow up note five days ago and have not heard back from a company representative yet.  Normally, sales personnel pursue leads with alacrity.  My request confirmation number is 7424, so I am guessing that I may be standing at the end of a pretty long queue.    Perhaps the response to the Legacy Sale has been more robust than expected?  It certainly sounds like a very good deal to me.  I have owned several Bryston amps in the ST and Cubed series over the years, and can attest to their across the board excellence.

Thanks, James.  Not complaining here; just being a squeaky wheel.  Love Bryston products.
 Best,
