Yes, the amp boards have to be upgraded too, besides the complete replacement of the power supply and related circuits. Therefore the upgrade can only be done at the factory. The whole thing has to be disassembled, not something that can be done offsite by other technicians.
After upgrade, it has to go through the full production QC and burn-in.
