I also own OB speakers (and in fact, used to own the Spatial X3's before moving to the Line Force OB line arrays).  I've tried a bunch of different headphones, my favorite are the Meze Empyrean's.
Tyson those look intriguing!  I may pick up a pair and compare to the Audeze...thank you!

Another important consideration is headphone weight. The Audezes are between 500-600g, while the Senn HD650 is 260g. In the realm of headphones, comfort is a critical consideration (and neck strain is no joke, especially if you're older or have injuries).

Just some examples...
Audio Technnica ATH-AD### series are light and have a double-wing suspension system that's very nice for wider heads.
Sennheisers have oval earcups, great for longer faces, but for shorter ones might put pressure on the jaw.
If you have glasses and your temples taper away from the arms quickly, then you'll want a lighter clamp and/or smaller earcups.

I’ll give a STRONG recommendation for Hifiman HE1000 Stealth (or Arya Steakth for a little less money), and just about anything from Schiit to drive them. Lots of other good amps out there as well. I’ve always had good experiences with Schiit.
