Hello everyone,
I’m new to AudioCircle, although my involvement with hi-fi and music goes back several decades.
My main focus has always been analog playback—turntables, tonearms, cartridges, and everything that surrounds them. Over the years I’ve spent a lot of time experimenting, refining, and trying to understand what really makes a system sound convincing, not just technically correct.
Consequently, over the years I have had many turntables, preamplifiers and various phono gadgets.
While I do use digital (and have a very capable streamer), I have to admit that it rarely pulls me into the music in the same way vinyl does. It’s not a matter of being “for or against” digital—it simply doesn’t engage me on the same level.
Looking forward to exchanging ideas and learning from the discussions here.
Best regards,
Zelimir
