When I attempt to login under my historical user name (Jazzman53) I'm getting this error message:  "user name does not exist".

Not realizing that I could post a message here without being logged in, I unwisely created a new account under a new user name (Chaz1953), in order to post a help message. 

I want to delete the new user account (Chaz1953) and fix the login problem with my original user account (user name: Jazzman53). 

When I attempted to include my original user name in this post; I got this error message:


Please advise how to fix this.

I had this error as well. Eventually just had to do a password reset.

The new PW requirement is 15+ characters, so maybe those of us with shorter passwords weren't able to get in.

My 2 cents are:
I discovered through experience that the AC system doesn't accept the user name pre-filled by the browser or password manager.

I have to type the user name at the time of login.

This is Charlie, formerly known here as user name Jazzman53. 

In order to post this message, I had to create a new email address and a new user account and name (Statman72) here-- because I can no longer login under my original user name; Jazzman53. 

I'm also posting this request for help in a new thread.

I believe the root of the problem was that my original Jazzman53 user account was linked to an email address that is no longer active and no lonter accessible, and the login problem started when I attempted to change my password.  AC sent the confirmation code for the password change to the aforementioned inactive email. 

Now; whenever I attempt to login as Jazzman53, I get the error message "user name does not exist"

I can continue on the AC as user "Statman72" but I would much prefer to restore access and login under my original user name; "Jazzman53". 

Is it possible for an AC administrator to change the email address linked to "Jazzman53" and restore my login access?
