Newbie says hi!
« on: 3 Mar 2026, 04:08 am »
Hi all!  New to this site but have been interested in hifi for decades.  I have never really had a great system but have enjoyed immensely what has come and gone through my homes over the years.  I have a weird fascination with Anthony Gallo speakers and currently have a super simple system consisting of a Peachtree Gan1 Amp, Gallo Strada 2 speakers and 2 Rel T5X subs.  Certainly isn't perfect, but for a small room, low volume listening, they are really sweet, especially that tweeter!

I've been obsessing over a new system for about a year now and am really intrigued by Dutch and Dutch and am hoping to audition the 8c and 6c as soon as they make their way down to Miami where I live.

Hope to get some insights from all of you and hopefully can get into buying and selling in the near future.

Cheers,

Damon

Do you could look an R5LS used, at the time it was retail at $19,000. Gulp!
There is 12 small woofers per speaker on the back side.

Thanks for the response!  Yes I’ve seen a few of those for sale recently in the 5k range. It’s definitely an interesting looking speaker but man there is so little out there about them. I’d love to check one out in person one of these days anthough I  should probably wean
myself off of the brand and move onto something a little more serious!
