I know about b&h and adorama.  What are other reputable stores for used lenses?

Fredmiranda.com has a super active buy/sell forum.  There are many sellers on there that have many hundreds of sales with all good reviews.  I feel safe dealing with them.  Some are flippers, some are people that buy and sell used just to try things out.  I have bought 4 items (a backpack and three lenses) off the forum from sellers with high numbers of transactions and good reviews, and all the items have been great, and exactly as described.

I think you have to register for the site to access the buy/sell forum, but registering is free and it is a very active and nice forum, covering all makes and many different types of photography.  I recommend the forum even if you don't pursue any used camera gear from there.

Collecting cameras and assorted photographic gear used to be a hobby of mine. I haven't done much in the past decade, but I found some good buys on Ebay. I also found some neat stuff on Craigslist but CL is dead now...all that action has moved to Facebook Marketplace. Lastly, you may want to consider KEH Photo.

I purchased a 70-200 lens for my Pentax K1 from mpb.com . I had an issue with the lens...they replaced no questions asked. Also sold them a couple of old lenses...recognizing they are in the business of resale the price was not high, but I thought it was fair. Overall, a positive experience and I'd use them again.

Usedphotopro.com is an arm of Roberts Camera. They have an awesome bricks-and-mortar store in downtown Indianapolis, and I've known the owners and quite a few of the staff for more than 20 years. It's a business, but the people behind it are good people.

It's KEH Camera. I've purchased several used lenses from them. Exceptional service and reasonable prices.

Thanks for all the info, I'll definitely check them out in the future.

I landed up snagging a used lens from Adorama late last night.  This afternoon I'm picking up a slightly damaged Cannon 70D,  a Facebook find for $100!
