This is a special 1981 re-issue LP, with tracks from the earlier 1977 Montreux session. The tunes were recorded live at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on July 24 (and the early morning hours of July 25), 1977. It has Maynard Ferguson on the tracks Blues March (solos) and Montreux Summit. It's really fantastic, fusion-influenced jazz, and Maynard comes through loud and clear!!!
