I bought an Omnia WR-2 a while back, and I've come to the conclusion that it's either defective or that I'm attempting to use it in a way it is not designed to be used.
I bought it thinking I could add it to my system to stream TIDAL and/or radio stations. Here's the system: WR-2 => Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE => amplifier => speakers. My cell phone's Omnia app recognizes the WR-2, but the Spring 3 and WR-2 absolutely refuse to communicate.
I've come to the conclusion that the WR-2 is not designed like other streamers....that it is designed to stream to powered speakers(?) and is not intended to be used in a 'regular' home audio system.

There is no DAC in the WR-2, so it needs to be attached to my DAC in order to listen to the sreaming content. Why the hell isn't it working? The WR-2 lacks a DAC, correct?
I'm convinced I'm using the wrong product. I recently connected a competitor's streamer to my main system, and there was no problem.
