Music Server 9A options
« on: 20 Jan 2026, 02:52 pm »

Is it usable with Qobuz or Tidal connect, for people who don´t want to pay to audirvana?
Is it usable with an android phone with bubbleupnp, or an apple phone with mconnect?
Thanks for information!

No, Music Server 9A is ONLY for Audirvana users.  It is the same idea as a Roon server.  Audirvana sounded very good due to its DSP processing.

A music transport Stream 9X is planned for March/April that has the "Connects", Chromecast and AirPlay2 etc.
If you are already using Nuprime products, then this LP10 Nuprime Edition is very good, but only when using the Nuprime Digital Port.

Where can I read more about the app features of the LP10 Nuprime Edition, please? I'd like to compare this to a Wiim Pro with upgraded PS.

For streamer such as LP10 Nuprime Edition, there is not really any "App features", mainly device features.
Because users would connect to the device through Qobuz/Tidal/Spotify Connect.  You are using the default streaming apps, not LP10 App.
Or you can use Google Chromecast or Apple AirPlay2 for streaming through your mobile phone apps.

This is the key difference between a streamer and a music server.   Music server such as Audirvana or Roon includes player and library management, and proprietary DSP to make the playback sounded very good.

Thanks, makes sense. I would still like to get a copy of the user manual, to understand its capabilities. For example, could this device act as a Squeeze client? The fact that I could connect it to an Evo DAC-2 through a proprietary I2S connection is very attractive to me but I would still like to know if this device could be a like-for-like replacement for a Wiim Pro. Thanks!

You can find the manual for LP10 at https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0072/6899/1049/files/LP10_Manual.pdf?v=1748505794

We didn't develop (nor OEM) LP10.  It was a partnership where the standard LP10 was customized for us to achieve the performance we need.

Perfect, thank you. That explains why I couldn't find a copy of the manual anywhere.
