Upgrade from Piano 1?

I have a Piano 1 CD player. Just got the drawer belt replaced. Pristine all around. But is the FAC chip in it outdated? Should I change players?

I have just a simple two-channel system with Quad 12L2 speakers and a Bel Canto eVo integrated amp.
