Here is a picture of my current favorite system, which has a NuPrime IA-9x paired with a SMSL PL200, powering some Totem Arros that are on a raised shelf:

I set this up to be a cute little system in a room, and it has become my "reference" system. Here's why it works:

1) The room is "cozy" and has a sofa. I'm not fighting the room as much.
2) Totem Arros pump out phase-coherent sound into the room. Raised, the drivers are at ear level, standing height. The shelf placement creates a baffle which enhances bass. My kids won't tip them over.
3) The DAC chip in the SMSL is very good, nice little system for my needs.
4) The IA-9X is doing an amazing job.
5) Can easily listen casually or critically, and enjoy the music even if there is other noise (conversation, activity) -- it is still enjoyable.
6) Family can play CDs and we can listen together rather than just listening by myself in my "gear lab".

I have a Simaudio Moon 250i downstairs. It won't fit on the shelf -- and I don't feel the need to put it in the system. I have Martin Logan Vistas -- amazing resolution in the sweet spot but a pain in the butt for general listening (the IA-9X drives these very, very well.) I have a Denafrips Ares II -- I am liking the detailed and balanced presentation of this little SMSL player better. So now this is my reference system. I'm surprised!

Both the SMSL and the IA-9X have the ability to add 2nd-order harmonics to the output for a more lush sound.

It's one of those rare moments when the system "just works" and you can pause, not feel the need to continually swap out equipment, and just focus on listening and buying some good CD's.

Looks great!

And the NuPRIME excel with phase/time coherent speakers.

IA-9X design was a hidden gem but we think that its potential was not fully exploited.  So we are introducing IA-9XG (https://nuprimeaudio.com/product/ia-9xg/) that will finally open it up where we expect the sound quality to be comparable to AMG series.

IA-9XG shipping has been delayed to mid Feb due to parts shortage (seems to be a norm these days).
Existing IA-9X could be upgraded to IA-9XG at the factory (contact us in March with a help desk ticket if you want to upgrade, we will figure out to minimize the cost).

G-R-E-A-T !

Well done! This is great and beautiful news!

This amplifier is a perfect tool for everyday use, and the analog RCA/XLR inputs were already very efficient.

For my part, I had only noticed a lack of power at the phono input.

I am very happy to hear that this device will benefit from a new power stage. It will surely be a new beginning for this amplifier, simple and already well made.

Personally, I use it every day, and it serves a turntable as well as a streamer and even a television.

Will European user-buyers be able to take advantage of the amplifier's upgrate??

THANX !
