Merry Cristmas
« on: Today at 01:13 pm »

Wishing all my friends and fellow audio aficionados on AudioCircle a Merry Christmas. Once again, a very special time of year has arrived, it's truly not about a shinny tree or a pile of gifts sitting under it - it's a time for quiet reflection, a time to enjoy the good company of family and friends or perhaps an opportunity to re-experience from bygone days, the magic of Christmas through our children's eyes. We are all certainly living in difficult and uncertain times, so a brief escape is good for the soul and a most welcome diversion. So throw on the Christmas music be it Dean Martin singing "White Christmas," Queen performing "Thank God It’s Christmas" or curl up on the sofa and enjoy a few movies such as Miracle on 34th Street, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and of course, a personal favourite, A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Be well...

Many thanks and right back at you Laundrew!

Oh that we could capture the child like anticipation of a dog. The kids are grown and the dogs are gone for the time being but the image you shared reminded me the dog’s unbridled excitement every year when giving them their stockings with new babies to shred and chewies to hoard.  This year we’ll share Christmas morning with 4 grand dogs and a grand baby who is old enough now to love the paper and boxes as much as what they contain.

Merry Christmas AC and blessings on your holiday traditions!

Oh so true.

A Christmas tradition we observe at our household is to have pictures of our family members (including the fury ones) who are no longer with us on our Christmas tree - they are gone but never forgotten. I was always impressed as to how quickly our "woofies" could shred the gift wrapping off of their presents.
