AVA Update - December 2025
« on: 18 Dec 2025, 04:35 pm »
As we close out another year at Audio by Van Alstine, we wanted to express our appreciation for your enthusiasm, support, and loyalty. We also wish to share some exciting personnel and product news which evidences our continuing commitment to innovation and the HiFi community.

With Mary and Larry’s retirement this past October, we have added to staff in support of back office/assembly operations and customer satisfaction. Jim Stitt (new AVA Circle Moderator), John Sexton, and Jason Rogowski, all located in Minnesota, have joined our team.  You may encounter some new voices if you call or email, but rest assured, our existing employee base remains in place providing continuity to operations and commitment to Frank Van Alstine’s legacy.

While we are not quite ready to share the specifics, we aim to launch several new products in 2026, including some exciting Power Amp designs, expansion of our phono and headphone listening capabilities, and a foray into a completely new Hifi product offering. We hope to be in a position to demonstrate prototypes at the 2026 AXPONA show, where we have reserved listening room 568. Come see us!

Thank you again,

Jim and the whole AVA Team

Hello Jim,

Thank you for the update in relation to AVA.  I look forward to the new products AVA will be offering. I'm always on the lookout for a new phono stage so who knows.

Cheers Rod

Thanks for the update. I'll keep watching for new product releases. Unfortunately, I cannot make it to Axpona next year.

Maybe I should sit on what’s left of my budget to see what you’re up to.

Thanks for the update Jim. Guess I missed the note that Larry had retired as well, hope he's enjoying the new adventure.

Hello All,
We are less than a week away from Axpona 2026 and are putting the final listening touches on a few new offerings. Please stop by Listening Room 568 if you are attending the show!

Any chance you'll be at CAF in November?

Hi Jim, after the show if you would like me to review the new gear as I did for Frank, I would love to.

Hi Phil,
We are not planning on attending CAF at this time. It would be a long drive for us.

thanks

I spy with my little eye: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18ekPLtxhY/

Very interested in the FVA1 shown in the clip! Mary clued me in about it last year before she retired but swore me to secrecy :)

EDIT: I just put two and two together with the product name... Nice tribute to Frank!

I wonder what kind of tubes the FVA1 uses and how many watts they are
