This amp was professionally built by the high end amp builder Ampsandsound. Built very, very well with all new parts. I am a long time builder, modifier and cable builder I and added the Dave Gillespie EFB board, 14 gauge power cable, on/off switch on front and the high quality KLE Innovations binding posts. Set up for using 8 ohm taps. I can change to 4 ohm taps if desired. Amp has about 50 total hours of playtime.

Many great sounding and expensive upgrades including;

Jupiter copper foil and wax coupling caps (4)
Fast recovery Sic diodes
KLE Innovations binding posts
Dave Gillespie EFB power supply/bias board
Hard wired nice 14 gauge power cord that is chassis safety grounded! Important folks. 1.5 meters long.
Star grounded to chassis at one point through a ground loop lift circuit for quiet operation and safety.
Soundcoat dampening added to chassis bottom.
Great sounding metal film resistors throughout

These upgrades took this gem of an amp in stock form to the next level. Dave’s board is a great upgrade in terms of sonics, operating temperature and extended tube life. Sweet sounding tube amp for sure.

New quad of matched JJ EL 84 output tubes and nos Eico 7247 pair.

Shipping is a flat $50. USA sale only. Prefer local sale or reasonable drive from Nashville area. PayPal F&F please.

Why am I selling. I like this amp so much, great fun, that I have a new desire to build a custom ST35 from scratch!

Thanks for looking. Also see my feedback on Audiogon under Grannyring. Trusted seller. One of the best ST35s you will find. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

As an extra I can include the dual fans pictured which keep the amp running cool/ warm, not nearly as warm/hot as without. Just place them on top of the cage as shown and the fans move the hot up and away from the amp. Set on low and you cannot hear a thing. No need to set the fan speed any higher! The D. Gillespie boards helps the amp run cooler already and the fans are just a nice way to run this little gem as cool as possible with ease and with no added noise.
