I’ve an issue with my 5-CHerry made by the late Tommy O’Brien that is mind boggling. When turning on the power switch the blue light no longer turns on inside the unit as no sound is produced any longer. Upon the sad and unexpected passing of Tommy I’ve been hard pressed to find any one who could possibly repair this amplifier. I attached a few images of the internals.
Would be curious for those with similar amps made by Tommy if you may know if the power supply can simply be replaced? I believe there’s one from Connex that may be a direct replacement? Curious what your experiences have been in fixing your Cherry amps. Thank you in advance for any recommendations. Would be much appreciated!
