It was a very good tape deck at the time, and holds its desirability today.
It hasn't been used in a few years, but I tested it as much as I could, I don't have any cassettes. Unit Lights up, Play, FF, REW, etc... spin the motors.
The cloudiness on the front deck mechanism is a photo artifact - its not really there.
Some scratches shown in the pictures due to normal wear and tear from moving houses and room locations a few times.
