Love this time of year with lots of new films available to stream. Watched this one last night. Really enjoyed it.
Latest Aronofsky film - I have seen and enjoyed Black Swan and the Wrestler.
It is about 10% about baseball - hence the title sort of.
It is advertised as crime, drama, black comedy - no doubt some Cohen Bros vibes.
First film I have seen with a Buzzcocks song in it - got love that...
Heavy on the characters, lighter on the plot. Also reminded me a bit of Anora from last year - although liked that better and doubt Caught Stealing will get much Oscar buzz.
Sorry not fancy pictures like some reviews here.
For me a 4/5 rating and recommended.
