I have a Project turntable with an external 16V AC motor.  I was using a Project Speed Box with this motor until the Speed Box started causing the motor to function erratically.   I sent the Speed Box to the factory service center but the repair did not fix it.  Will be contacting the repair center again.  I have looked at the Music Hall Cruise Control which will work with my turntable. But these are basically unavailable.  Buying a DC motor from Project is an option.  I would like to get the Speed Box repaired ultimately. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.  PS I would like to be able to afford the Dereneville motor.

I use the Dereneville DAE-01 CLe, I upgraded the one that came with my Acoustic Solid One to One. Money well spent. If you do go for the Dereneville, I would recommend buying a different power supply than the basic one included. You can either buy their own or use something else, I went for a Farad Super 3.
