Let's say a max budget of $1500 (because that's what a Michell Technoarm goes for), what are the darlings of the modded Rega lineup these days? I'm putting together a tweaked Technics deck like my 2005-self would've loved, and frankly it's been about that long since I've kept up with tonearm releases. Are the higher-end factory Regas better now?

Thanks!

Take a look at Origin Live:

Always get great reviews.   I own 2 models:  Silver and Encounter.  Both are excellent.
At your budget the Zephyr is doable.  There are 2 OL models even cheaper.

For reference, arms I have owned:  Kuzma, Linn, Graham, SME, Jelco, Moerch

Good Luck!    :thumb:
