Phenomenal room. Brought my 10 yr old this year as she was really curious about these audio shows that Dad goes to. While we were listening, she whispers to me, “this is the best sounding room”. Had to shake Klaus’s hand while we were leaving and let him know it was the best sound of the show for me. Now if you can just get the new amp as a stereo two box model :)

Thx guys...

so far, there has been very little about our room at the Capfest,  but that's likely to change in the next days though...
Here are some of my thoughts regarding the show:

1.  It looks like I'll never get my shit together .......in order to avoid last day waaaaayyyyy late setups,  I wanted to leave Monday around 3 pm....got our of Indy on Wed. at 5 pm....new record
2.  Of course that also meant that I paid 2 days  Airbnb for nill
3.  And, of course ,  Thursday the night before the show,  I wasn't done until 4.30 am.  AGAIN  !!!!
4.  And, (what else is new)  I forgot my CD case with all of the remotes in it....and....one of the umbellical cords for the Meilenstein amps.  That meant that on Friday,  I had to play Kismet monos that I had with me as well...obviously,  a really,  really good save,  but not the same,  as Saturday proved.
5.  Friday Craig got one connector from Furutech,  and I hardwired the cables into the power supply Friday night...so,  all lwas good at the end.....
6.  as for the sound itself,  Sat. and Sunday was spectacular...just mind blowingly  wonderful.  The amps and the speakers `played fantastic together.
7.  Even though the sound was so good,  and traffic was surprisingly strong (at least in our room which had never fewer than 4 people in it during the show hours) business was not.  Yes,  I made sales, and show profit,  but there definitely was a hesitancy this year that wasn't there in years past.......
8. The Temple speakers are definitely,  100 %  divisive.....very much a love it or hate it kind of situation.....however,  I also sold a pair on looks alone...go figure.  For me,  this was and is a vanity project...I designed and build them for myself,  as I think that these are among the most beautiful speakers I have ever seen.......Of course the complete design can (and might ) be repackaged,  as the pure sound quality is magical.

9.  Finally, after coming back Tuesday night,  I started to feel miserable the next day...wouldn't you know,  I contracted frickin' Covid.   I have been so careful the past years because Of Irina,  but yup,  she got it as well.....keep in mind that earlier this year she finished up her Chemo and radiation,  and obviously her immune system is weak.  However while still not back to normal,  we're nevertheless fine and got through the bad cycle just fine........

So,  hopefully next week I'll be back to normal,  whatever the hell that is .............
