With hearing not up to regular audiophiles standards after enduring 70's rock in a Ford Falcon with a Criag Powerplay cassette with four 6X9 Powerplay speakers, several firework misfires and a shotgun episode, its a wonder my hearing is not worse than it is. But above all I like music and I like it to sound as good as my ears allow.
I found this site while trying to find out what happened to the Daily Audiophile website.

Oh, that's not so irregular. Many audiophiles on AudioCircle have hearing issues. In fact, the guy who introduced me to high-end audio 30 years ago can only hear out of one ear.

Good on you for knowing up front that the most compromised part of your system is your ears.  I count myself among those who came to that realization later rather than sooner.  The Lokius has become among the highest valued pieces in the chain since getting my hearing checked.
