What can I say..hooked! Closest I've ever heard to my old Cary 300b. SET says it all. Running into a pair of Triangle 25th Anniversary Comete's with an NAD DVD (Wolfsen 8740 chip). Simple setup, small nirvana.

Curious about your bass performance as well. My experience is I used to use tone controls when listening to vinyl/records but not anymore (no longer needed when using the Vision Q+ Phono preamp with the Set 120 Control amp) ...
