There is no "International Day of the Stereo,"

There is no "International Day of the Stereo," so I am declaring today, November 15th 2025, International Day of the Stereo.
It will be an annual event if we remember to celebrate it next year.
All you have to do to participate is play your stereo sometime today. You can play your headphones too. What we're really celebrating is recorded music, which is still relatively new from the time of Edison's invention. And it's has progressed to pretty darn good standards and perhaps has become more mainstream than listening to music Live.

So have at her. I'm not mobile yet but should be sitting in the Sweet Spot in a few hours. :smoke:

I like the idea.  Didn't see the post until just now, but I did indeed celebrate with glorious music yesterday, and today, and hopefully at least 363 of the upcoming 364.

One idea for the official name of the holiday: Intergalactic Music Appreciation Day. If not every year, can we at least call it that on leap years - starting with 2028? Pretty please?

No, it's not a holiday! It's a day of recognition, like day of the toilet. Which is to remind people that not everybody in the world has access to a toilet.
