Available now is the Matrix Audio X-2 USB DDC to SP/DIF/TOSLINK & I2S converter. It is in excellent condition cosmetically and operationally. I have 1 other DDC and must thin this herd as they are all basically redundant as my second system is finally close to total dismantling.
This example is in absolutely pristine condition, fully complete as one received from the factory, barely a fingerprint to be found, as close as I can see...I recently utilized this unit in my main system to further experiment with I2S connectivity that other 'philes have ranted and raved about....And guess what??? They are absolutely correct, sirs/mams! My plan was that if I liked what most of these units did, then I would try to acquire the LAiV Harmony DDC because I have their Harmony DAC and I want to mate it with its brethen for aesthetics and performance matching. I will mention that while waiting on a LAiV DDC, I snagged a Gustard U18 DDC and felt this X-2 unit sounded better in my rig so the U18 has been 'pasteurized', 'sunsetted'...A.K.A.$0LD!

Any "active" item, such as this DDC that I list for sale is thoroughly tested to clearly pass signal/music. This X-2 was solely tested/used for its I2S output. For "passive" items such as cables, are tested for shorts and continuity with an audible continuity tester as well as a V.O.M. This testing happens prior to disconnection (for active gear) and once again before packaging up for shipping to their new, happy home!
