Hi everyone, I'm glad I found this forum, it has been a wealth of information. I've decided on my next set of speakers which will be Von Schweikerts. I'm coming from a pair of Kef Reference 3 (non-Meta) speakers, which I sold last year. Since I've been running a pair of older Kef 105/3. After a lot of reading I'm pretty set on the Von Schwiekert VR-5 Anniversary speakers. I have a 17x23x9 room, I feel this speaker will work well for me.
The issue is, it is hard to find a set, so I'm curious how the VR-4 SR MKIII or the VR-7 HSE stack up. The VR-7 is getting to be a pretty old speaker but what limited info I can find, it sounds like it was a really great speaker.
I know a lot of you have had experience with all of these speakers, so I am curious as to you options. For reference I'm running an Audio Research 5SE, Mojo Audio Mystique V3 (modded to an EVO Pro), a new amp will follow the speakers but currently running my ATI 3300 amp.
