I'll root for the Brewers in the NL since a friend of mine is a fan. I cannot stand the Dodgers, so I hope they get swept. I'll jump on the Blue Jays bandwagon because I also despise the Yanks and Redsox, so at least the sox are gone, hopefully the Jays can make the other go away too. Funniest part of this season is the Mets going in the crapper with the highest payroll. The Mets and Jets are just historically awful.

The Brewers slapped the Cubs pretty good yesterday. I think a Brewers, Blue Jays would make a good WS.

I was a NL fan first but now they're all the same. Still, I'd love to see a Brew crew / Mariners series but anyone other than the Yankees will do fine.

I'll pick the Subaru Outback.  I had one, very sturdy, very stable in the snow, just couldn't get away from the incompetent and horribly expensive dealer service fast enough.

Yo JLM. This is a baseball playoff thread in spectator sports. Why are you talking about Subaru's??

Still rockin' the E61 but a new M3 Comp. (G81) I would fancy.

As far as baseball, I feel like it's Geddy's year. New tour announcement and new docuseries "Are bass players human too", I don't know, maybe the Bluejays got what it takes this year.  :dunno:

If you had asked me 3 weeks ago, my hopes were not very high about the Blue Jays chances going the distance in the Playoffs.
After the defeat of the Yankees my hopes are high they can pull it off. What they did was they were able to hit the Yankees starting pitchers, whereas before the series I had big doubts.

There is a chance Bichette the Jays shortstop could be back. He's worth a win or two when he's in the line up. We shouldn't expect to see him back according to the doctors report because his injury needs time to heal. He risks further damage coming back too soon. He still has a long career ahead of him. If he does come back it is because he is young and strong.

The Mariners managed the win, in 15 innings ! Going to be a tough series with the Bluejays. Didn't see the game, no sports channels, but was apparently a defensive one, with the M's tying in the 7th, 2-2. They fly east tomorrow for Sunday game, we'll see how far adrenaline carries them. Seems pitching will be a challenge as they used most all they had to get it done. Don't follow baseball much these days, too many disappointments with the M's, as with many Seattle teams (was a Cubs fan for years, to no avail back then). Been here 40+ years and the last Division Championship game was '01. Gutsy performance for both teams, shame someone had to lose, but that's the nature of sports.

We'll see if Cinderella makes it to the ball. Big uphill climb by all accounts. Go M's   :thumb:

Game for the ages.  I hate that one team had to lose.  The game featured dominant and gutsy pitching - 472 pitches - and the two best throws to second I’ve ever seen from a catcher.

5 runs on 16 hits in 15 innings
Total Pitches: 472
Total Pitchers: 15
Total Plate Appearances: 115
Total Strikeouts: 37 / 40% of total outs.

Now if the Brew Crew can finish off the Cubs and get past the Dodgers I’ll be happy with any World Series outcome.
