Greetings.
I've been messing with audio equipment ever since I built my first amplifier in the late 1960s. My electronics interest began with a book called 'The Boy Electrician' and then 'Philips Electronic Engineer' (many of the circuits didn't work but I found out how to terminate germanium transistors!).
I first heard about the London Audio Circle via a UK magazine called 'Audio Conversions' in the early 1990s but London, in pre-internet days, was too far away. I graduated to Audio Amateur, Glass Audio and finally AudioXpress.
Improving audio systems has fascinated me for most of my life.
Each time I find a way for improvement, things plateau for a time but then something new turns up to work with.
Currently its how noise reduction devices work. How can a box of wet 'sand' improve your Hifi?...
