Wow.  I heard rumors that he was leaving.  His son must be taking over.

Yes, it is Scott who is leaving.  He designed the Sprout.  So he is going to start and offshoot company based on the Sprout.

Huge market advantage for affordable hifi competition domestically. Chi-fi needs some competition. I wish him luck. The sprout was about right for a lot of people.

I have one on my desktop and am quite happy with it - better since I caught a well timed sale. I don’t know where Scott is heading but he’s still taking input from users about what they’d like to see.  I hope he has a run that matches PS Audio’s 50 years, but without the bumps.

Actually, if you want an interesting and entertaining read I can recommend Paul McGowan’s autobiography “99% True”

Their website is still under construction 8 months later, that's saying something.

PS Audio as a company and as a name has value...at least for now because as we all know, things change quickly.

There seems to be an appetite by some of the industry "consolidators" to acquire "good companies".

If you just wanted to take a flyer and speculate.... Paul can monetize his investment by selling the company...but also allowing Scott to have a chance to do his own thing.

This approach could be a win, win, win.....a win for the company and its long term future, a win for the McGowan family and a win for Scott who gets to build his own company.
