Howdy from Texas
« on: 29 Sep 2025, 11:42 pm »
I'm an enthusiast in Texas getting back into the hobby after a number of years away other than half decent headphones, my truck and harley don't count for good audio.
I'm currently running a modest system on my desktop with SVS prime satellites, a SVS 3000 micro sub powereb by a JVC receiver and a SL-Q2 turntable. I have a NAC C 521BEE on they way.

if I only had room for the pair of original Dali 6's I picked up for cheap.

Welcome to the forum, and hope you find room in future for your Dali's :thumb:.

Welcome!

Funny what you say that about the bike and truck audio.  Personally, I enjoy listening to music while driving the most- by far. Lowest quality music reproduction = highest quality musical enjoyment. Go figure...

If you decide to add streaming to your set-up, there are a lot of people on this forum that will be most helpful with ideas in your price range. It really is a great time to be in this hobby.

I do most of my listening in the truck and I’m working on a fairing for the Harley so I can have tunes there as well. I’m trying to not go down the rabbit hole of ripping out all the factory Bose in the truck.
