Very well done BenjaminWebber.  :thumb: One of my system's is setup for near field listening and from that I extrapolate your NT-Xtremes' are delivering holographic imaging with dynamics off the chart. Perfect for your tube amps.

I tried a few different locations for my double trouble subs, to the outside a little behind the way most other people have them. In line to the sides and just behind laying down on the sides. After using them in different configurations for a few months at a time, going back to horizontal to the inside or closer to the middle of the speakers sounds best to me. More punch, just sounds more believable or accurate to me.

It’s definitely worth it to experiment with speakers l, especially these, or you may never hear how good they can perform.

What a fabulous room.  Congratulations.

Have you ever experimented with the subs laying on their sides?

I posted a picture in this thread showing the way I had my subs, more towards the center of the room. I took a look at your setup and thought it would be fairly easy to try it. Put them Behind the speakers angled in about the same as the speakers about a foot from the back of the speakers. Definitely changed the overall sound for the better. Not just the bass. I’m starting to think the speakers perform best when the MTM section has room to breathe, nothing to the sides (sub towers) that may block or cause more reflection other than the side and back wall reflections. Also having the subs too much into the center stage degraded the soundstage capability.
