Hi everyone,
My name is Ashen and I’m from Sri Lanka. I’ve been into audio for a while, mostly listening to streaming services like Tidal and Spotify, and I’m slowly upgrading my setup. I’ve joined AudioCircle to learn more from experienced members about DACs, streamers, and amplifier matching. Looking forward to being part of the community.

Recommend active monitors.  Let the vendor match amps to drivers.  Actives (used nearly all studios) have several advantages: low voltage sophisticated crossovers that can integrate DAC's and room EQ; amps that have a direct connection to the drivers for better synergy; no speaker cables; better accuracy; improved dynamics; and better deep bass response.  Prices for good ones range from $300/pair (JBL 305 Mk2) up to $15,000/pair (Dutch & Dutch 8C).
