On Sep.12.2025, Pink Floyd's "Wish You were Here" turned 50.The 50th Anniversary Edition of album, is coming out sometimes in Dec.2025.I found interesting article on BRAVEWORDS website. And yes, it's a heavy metal page, but we Metal Maniacs love Pink Floyd too, so please try not to faint.I'm reffering to those, who think Heavy Metal should not exist...lol.

It looks like a large collection of demo tapes, alternate studio versions, a surround sound remix, and newly released/restored live performances from the period. It's not clear whether there is any remixing or remastering of the original album (other than manufacturing a surround sound version).

A demo version of Welcome to the Machine has been released as part of the announcement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cY3rPlOsATc

Mariusz, you might be surprised how many people are big fans of both groups.  Two of my all-time favorite concert memories are Deep Purple at Olympia Stadium (although it was actually an arena) and when a friend of mine got me a front-row seat for Roger Waters at Little Caesars Arena a few years back.

Like I say to my friends when discussing politics or religion - hey, can't we all just get along?

p.s..the Deep Purple show was within 2 days of Aerosmith at Cobo Hall, and my hearing hasn't been the same since.
