###SOLD### Selling my Hot Rodded Rogue Ares Phono. 1200.00. I am willing to bet this modified Ares sounds better than the Magnum version. It was factory upgraded with the blue Cinemag transformers (used in the Magnum), allowing for even higher gain (up to +10db, totaling 74db max gain) and lower noise, making it a versatile phono stage that can pair with any cartridge on the market, however high or low the cartridge output. I replaced the stock capacitors with premium Miflex KCPU-01 film capacitors. These caps are incredible, adding the body, texture, and resolution like no other. After the upgrade, the stage came very close to my $4K reference phono stage, a Modwright PH 9.0X. I also preferred this leaps and bounds over the PS Audio Stellar Phono, which is a Stereophile Class A component. The stage also comes with Psvane T-II 12AU7s and 12AX7s and Hifi-Tuning gold fuses, which in total cost ~$500 on top of the other mods.
The stage is in excellent condition, I has a silver face plate and I also have an extra black face plate that I will include so you can match your system. I will cover shipping to CONUS, Paypal F and F, local pick up, of course, at 09370, CT.
