Remembering Frank today on what would have been his 87th (I believe) birthday. He is missed!

Indeed. I owe Frank a huge dept of gratitude for creating one of the few audio companies I would want to work for and for actually letting me part of it.

His birthday is an excellent time to remember the audio values he created his business around and defended so passionately. This one's for you, my mentor, wherever you are.

Thanks for the passion, vision, and quality you brought to the audio hobby Frank. As Ron notes you are missed, but know that those you entrusted those values to are carrying on in your absence.

Currently listening to my Ultravalve, fed by my DAC 5, w/ associated vintage gear and loving every note.

I didn't really know FVA beyond interacting with him a couple of times on this forum, and seeing a couple of videos about him and his company on YouTube. Nonetheless, when he passed I sensed that this was a man who lived life on his own terms, doing what he loved. It made me think of myself and other Audiophiles of my age and how nice it would have been to have lived a similar life, engaged in the things that truly interest us rather than the compromises we make to earn a living on our life's journey. I actually have know idea if what I've stated was actually true, but as I said that was my sense of the man, which some of you will know from personally knowing FVA much better than me.
