Isn't a Subi supposed to have gold wheels to be proper?

That's right. The P25 was a limited run of 25 brand new cars built by Subaru in consultation with ProDrive. Hence there are subtle changes to the original 22B's basic design. The lucky owners of these cars had to stump up over $550,000GBP depending on options. For their money they got a car prepared to the same level as a Singer Porsche or Alfaholics Alfa. And it is an animal...a barely street-legal race car that will scare the living crap out of you!

A customer of mine was just finishing up a restoration on a 71 Lamborghini Miura. Apparently the owner picked up at insurance auction in 1975 after an engine fire for only $7,500. Even waiting for wheels it looks fast.

What a classic, and good score. If he can buy most of the major parts from wreckers, he should have a head-turner for Audi money.
