Alien: Earth is a new series streaming on Hulu, episodes 1 & 2 were released on 08/12/2025.
In 2120, five companies control Earth. The USCSS Maginot, a Weyland-Yutani C-class deep space research vessel, approaches Earth after a 65-year expedition collecting extra-terrestrial specimens, among them facehuggers and a full grown Xenomorph. The Maginot experiences a navigation error and crash lands into a tower in Prodigy City, New Siam, Earth.
But it is a lot more complicated than that with competing corporations after the valuable (but deadly) cargo employing a mix of humans, hybrids, synthetics, and cyborgs.
New alien species are introduced and the Xenomorph gets plenty of screen time. Rated R for occasional scenes of aliens eating, head bites, dismemberments, and blood puddles.
Noah Hawley created Alien: Earth, I'm a big fan of his re-imagining of the Fargo series loosely based on the movie of the same name. Noah wrote all of Alien: Earth's eight episodes and directed the first episode.
