I had bad experiences with Fedex and UPS, now using DHL no prob so far.
Remove all tubes and made a safe pack.

Unless you start talking LTL carriers, most common carriers are similar with delivery exceptions. I use FedEx all the time at work, with mostly good but some mixed results. Double box that thing for sure, double check to make sure there is NO rattling or room to shake about inside AT ALL, and insure for full value plus a little extra. The insurance is gross to pay for, but I've been burned otherwise. Always insure, or you're reimbursed a flat $100 initial liability plus cost of the shipment.

I've had good experiences with DHL. But that is mainly re: overseas shipping. They do offer domestic shipping solutions in the US fyi - https://www.dhl.com/us-en/home/global-forwarding/products-and-solutions/domestic-freight.html

Shipped a CAT Pre, NYC to SoCal, via UPS (best price), double box with 1" min. between inner and outer box. Lots of bubble wrap and cross fingers.
Got there in very good condition. Shipping big heavy items is always risky, overpack for it to survive a 3 ft. fall.

Be aware that the top panel is held in position purely by it’s own weight, and velcro! It’s heavy.
I wouldn’t trust carrying it up the stairs - let alone shipping it.
Pack well, then insure it fully.
Bear in mind that if sending for an upgrade - it will need to be insured for the revised value for the return journey.
