Day off work again, made a mess and did more sanding. I'm too dumb to figure out how to do a rollover edge on these with my router, there aren't many 90 degree angles, and I didn't wanna irreplicabley bite the cabinets, so I just started sanding it by hand... By the time I looked up it had been about 6 hours...







Trying to get something similar to the front baffle of my NX-Studios... I think I still need to sand more...

So I did... Spent another day sanding until my arm numbed and I was satisfied with the roundovers, things look even enough for me to not be bothered by them although it's hard to tell because I'm just sitting in a little chair under our carport sanding away like some kind of gollum creature, inspecting them from every angle. I also filled the gaps/holes and put down a little layer of shellac primer to see what things looked like, did more sanding...







I think I am going to paint on my next day off, was planning on spraying the cabinets with white duratex like I did last time so they're somewhat matching. Then hit them with a poly mixture that has some white UV reactant pigment in there to add a little undercover spice. I'm trying to get to it before I lose the warm weather... I think I'm ready to paint, I dunno. I'll get it done.
