The Pickup starring Eddie Murphy, Pete Davidson, Keke Palmer and Eva Longoria

Two armored truck drivers (Eddie and Pete) are ambushed by ruthless criminals

I didn't have high expectations for this movie and I wasn't disappointed. But I was entertained. A perfect film for when you are in the mood for a "Bad Movie Night."

There isn't a better way to get ready to see the new "The Naked Gun" movie starring Liam Neeson than watching "Ice Road Vengeance" starring the indestructible, scowling Liam Neeson.

With implausible edge-of-your-seat action, our bus riding heroes take a beating evading evil henchmen while going down a treacherous, one lane icy mountain road in Nepal.

The best part of the film is Fan Bingbing, a Chinese megastar who is back making films after a tax evasion scandal sidelined her career in 2018. I will be following her career and definitely checking out her future films.

I was watching last night on Netflix Blackout, it has Nick Nolte in it. I think I watched about 35 - 40 minutes of it and turned it off, what a pile of cr4p. That is 35 - 40 minutes of my life I will never get back.  :duh:

Guns Up

Ray Hays (Kevin James) is a devoted family man who just happens to be a mob enforcer as his day job. But it's only a means to an end, not his passion which is opening a restaurant with his wife. Now that Ray has saved enough to quit the mob and open a restaurant, his new mob boss has other plans for him.

"Guns Up" had the potential to be a bad movie but it's actually a pretty good action comedy that kept me engaged through it's 91 minute run time, no fat, just fun. The film's 2nd half ramps up the action into a bloody ballet of guns and knives. At one point one of Ray's kids asks "Is Dad John Wick?"

Alice (Christina Ricci), Ray's petite, polite, mild-mannered wife joins in on the action

Still better than Prometheus.

Although, the preview looked very promising, the movie itself was weak.

Agreed. A snooze-fest of epic cookie-cutter proportions. Wasted several people who can actually act.....and many more who actually can't.

You had me (bored to tears) at 'Pete Davidson'. His agent is a genius because he keeps getting Pete roles for which he is entirely unqualified.....that being anything in the entertainment industry.

Truth. When I see him as a spokesperson for a product, I want to buy it less than if I saw no advertisement.

"Fixed" is hard to rate, I really wanted to like it but it lacked the magic of Genndy Tartakovsky's other films, especially the excellent "Primal", a 20 episode prehistoric survival adventure with no dialog.
But I watched it all anyway, the film is just weird enough.

"Fixed" follows Bull, a lovable mutt on a 24 hour adventure with his buddies. Bull just found out he is going to be neutered the next day and needs a release for all his pent up anxiety.

This is definitely not cartoon for children, lots of swearing mixed with all the hard "R" rated stuff that dogs do naturally.

A few years back you mentioned "Attack of the Meth Gator".  Now that is a sub "B" movie gem that defines a BAD movie.... but ends up being a decent comedy. Not quite up to that standard, but still an honorable mention candidate would be "Cocaine Crabs from Outer Space".

'War of the world'...2025 with Ice Cube, melted into a product placement mess.
Avoid at all cost.

Slingshot is a confusing and boring movie that made Alien Covenant look like a masterpiece. You’ve been warned. :|

"In the Lost Lands" (2025), this movie should have been lost, before it's release.
