Late 70s/early 80s SciFi movie:
Guy gets hit by lightning, or something like that energizes his body. He wears a watch style meter that indicates how energy is in his body. He can shoot energy from his hands, but not in a Thor way. He runs low on energy and gets close to death. He gets saved and recharged at the end.
