Hi, I am very happy now.

After half a year, My technician finished conversion from Stratos extreme to Kismet Reference.

When I bouth my Stratos from Remus in February, they arrived well but sound bad and distorded. So We asked Mr. Bunge how to proceed. He ask me to do some test and twist and nothing correct failure. Then, He propose us to upgrade for a very interesting cost, and we agree to pay half / half.

Mr. Bunge takes his time to make and test and adjust the new boards and send it to me in Ecuador in june 16th 2025. But one of the boards comes with bended metal heatsinks and broken ceramic resistences. So a new delay in the way. Mr. Bunge send back resistors and they arrived to me last week.

I am posting some photos of how was te interior of the amplifiers before upgrade:

The metal case nude ready to receive the updated black Kismet Boards

New boards

A comparison of older capacitors vs newer large capacitors

New boards inside and a detail view of large capacitors mounted

So, they now are ready, placed and playing full music in my home

Well, it was a long way to have they function and as its name say an ODDYSSEY! a journey with obstacles to defiet but with a happy ending and hope a large life to come.

Thanks Mr Bunge

Congrats on those! Your room looks great. They will really open up after get about 300 hours on them. I’m looking forward to reading how much you like them as they break in. Don’t give up on them if they go through a muddy bass stage, just let the components settle in and you will be rewarded. Klaus is the man!  :banana piano: :banana piano:

I wish to have a fluent conversation with Mr Bunge, fast I mean; but I can´t do it by phone (my english is not so fluent), so communication enterely was through Mr. Remy (former owner of the stratos).

Looks great. There's something very special about the sound of Kismets driving Maggies! (The two parts of my system that I don't anticipating changing for a long time, if ever.)

I really enjoy my home´s livingroom, specially at crepuscle while sitting hearing music.... Here they are the Kismet References playing some Tingvall´s songs.
