Yuthe 1050 X 650 is what Norbert and I came up with, shaving an inch or so at a time. It gets the most out of the least (area) it would seem. Then you can add DEQ and lift the lower register up. As Mxgsr points out, you can really do "stupid" things to the FR of this driver without inducing modulation of upper bandwidth and absolutely without induced distortion.

OK, to get this thread going again, here is a little info tease - the Sharp 1 bit amp from Vinnie has arrived, and I have it set up in my system downstairs. I should be able to get it happening tonight, and will offer up some thoughts on how that little digital amp does.Darn good looking unit, I have to say.
Very nice. I've only read a passing remark that the teac was better than the sharp. Should be very interesting because, so far, the teac, the sharp, and the clari-t all cost about the same!
For Clarification (no pun intended on the Clari-T ), Mark does not own the Clari-T or the Red Wine modded Teac.
PS, how are all you budding OB people going ...
