Ah, thanks guys.

The car got that name for being a little Flashy. Each time I go to the drag strip, I have to write a 5 digit number (can be letters) on the window as a number to note the car. When they type it into the timing computer it tells them who is driving, etc., so they can call the lanes. I wrote Flash on there so many times I finally just put it on there with a window sticker so that I never had to write it on there again.

Happy belated birthday!

Fastest I ran in the 1/4 mile in Baytown (I ran Ennis in my 1999 Trans Am before I got into Vettes 23 years ago) was a 10.9 @ 135 MPH on street tires in my 2008 Z06. I was told to park it after that run (no rollover protection). Ah, those were the days.

No drag runs now since they tore down Baytown to build housing. Besides, I ditched the hardtop for a convertible in 2022.
